Reckless Greed is worth considering, as is A Hero Lives (Dark Law = winning), and Terraforming. Triple Upstart isn't really negotiable in combo decks. Worth being aware of, regardless of which side you stand on. Mirror Force has a long-standing argument surrounding it because your opponent has to play into it for it to be effective. Having to set COTH before you play it and being unable to use Shadow Mist as an instant Dark Law if you're forced to play it on your opponent's turn are serious negatives. I'm not sure double Mask Charge is necessary how many times are you planing on summoning Dark Law/Dian in a game? Probably a one-of at most, though you can pitch the dead ones with Monk.ĬOTH seems slow, and I suspect that Soul Charge would be much better. Forbidden Lance is probably better (Lance allows you to dodge Book of Moon, the only card which can realistically interrupt your combo barring Emptiness the trade-off is that it doesn't dodge destructive Monster effects, but I can't think of any in the current meta), but I don't think Lance is very good either most decks are fairly trap-light at the moment, though I suppose that Raigeki is a legitimate concern. I don't think Forbidden Dress is particularly good. You'd already noted this yourself, but I think this is worth reinforcing. It's a great way of getting Shadow Mist's effect off when you draw into it, and it's a great way of fixing dead Claymans (still no dice on Avian/Burstinatrix though), but it's an extremely situational card that you can search off ROTA. This is not a slow grindy deck that gets by on normal summoning (which is where these cards shine), it's an "I need to make key SSes every turn or I lose" deck. You have two primary aims, looping and Dark Law, and both of these require you to SS. I don't think that Cardcar/Duality are good for this deck. I absolutely love the Electrum OTK, so I'll try to be thorough. The only definite thing for the extra deck will be 2 Dark Law, 3 Electrum, 3 Gaia, 1 Gustave Max, Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Gustav Max. Kurribandit, will speed up the deck but leave me vunlable. For the Electrum fusion, and to summon Masked HERO Divine Wind who hits hard.ġx Elemental HERO Burstinatrix Only for the Electrum fusion, pretty useless, I don't even run the Masked Hero for her.ġx Elemental Hero Clayman, His masked hero is pretty good so he is target usually.ġx Elemental Hero Bubbleman, only one, I feel like I can just get him back with Call of the Haunted or Mask Charge too easily.ģx Elemental Hero Shadow Mist, of course, searches the heros I use for mask change.Ģx Summoner Monk, I feel like he is alright, does not work too well with Pot of Duality.Ģx GoblinDbergh, thinking of running one becasue I can get him with Rota, but I dunno, he is pretty good with Mist.ģx Cardcar D, Speeds up the deck, I set traps then use him, he works well with PoD, helps get the OTK cards.Ģx Forbidden Dress, He is alright, sometimes he wins the game, other times useless, maybe book of moon instead.ģx and 2x Mask Change and Charge, staples I think.ģx Pot of Duality, the constancy is great.ġx Bottomless I like him, he does work on the Pend mass summons.Ģx Call of the Haunted Works well with Shadow Mist, grabbing another Mask Change.ġx Solemn Warning, not sure about this card.ġx Torrential Tribute, helps a lot, also makes for big plays.Ĭards I think I need to run Gorz, good for stalling and strong beater. OTK that topped in 2013.ġx Elemental HERO Avian. For those unfamiliar with the OTK, here it is. I have been a long time player of DN, however I have never made a serious tournament deck, This is my first attempt to make one, I plan on getting three elemental hero structure decks, and I ordered this to get electrums and the basic heros I am wondering where I could get some xyz, guistave max, Cardcar D, and Chain Material.
